PERFORMANCE: WHAT IS ART?

Shermin Voshmgir aka KAMIKATSE channels Dr. Kristian Stuhl, one of many alter egos of Kris Kris Kind, during the opening night of Dr. Kristian Stuhl’s Heaven & Hell exhibition in Cuntra LA KUNSTHURE. The theme of the panel discussion was the Question “WHAT IS ART”.

During the panel, Dr. Kristian Stuhl (she/he/whatever) makes the statement that art is a just a commodity, the price of which is simply determined by market forces, which very much enrages one of the other panelists. The man, clearly provoked by the statements, leaves the panel mid discussion trampling & shouting (see partial video of the event below). He also also made a write up on that even from his own perspective.

ABOUT DR. KRISTIAN STUHL

Dr. Kristian Stuhl is an alter ego of Kris Kind. He studied at the world’s most prestigious universities, graduating summa cum laude from each of them. He obtained his doctorate at the age of eight months, and his first distinction was the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 1969—at the tender age of twelve months.
